Hi guys, you rocked at Glasgow gig. To all people who replied to my earlier comment about me not going because I thought I was too old at 38 to go to the gig, a BIG THANK YOU for helping me realise you are never too old to go! I had a fab time! Till T in the Park. Love Lynn xxx

  • Michaela

I saw you guys in Glasgow last night as a birthday treat. Awesome show!! I really loved it…. and it was my first gig *blush* I'm 15. Well done though!! You have been my favorite band for ages now but it really re-newed my kinda obsession as I have spent the whole of today re-listening to all three albums. My friend asked me what I though the best song you sang was.. i couldn't answer! I loved This is war though. And Night of the Hunter and Modern Myth and Vox Populi and L490 was creepy! Thanks for the best night of my life :)

I got the 30 Seconds to Mars bug from the Live Lounge track 'Stronger' probably like so many other people have. Saw them in Cardiff last week and it was awesome. Become a fast track fan since Christmas 2009 when I got bought all their albums. I loved the way they work the crowd and really connect with the fans. Pretty damn refreshing! It's like you can almost feel the music running through your veins! Music is the food of the soul and these guys sure know how to feed us!!! Keep up the good work xxx

  • Xuxa

My fascination with "30 Seconds to Mars" started when I briefly heard "The Kill" in charts and I sought to myself: "This is intresting and different" (have to admit that for a while I thought "The Kill" is the name of the group and the lead singer suspiciously looks like an actor I have seen somewere before, I think all that make up through me off completely); now I am proud owner of all albums, but neverless " This is War" is my faivorite one; I guess I am attracted to the mixture of different sounds and soulful voice of the lead singer; also seeing couple of times Jared Leto in movies, only now I put two and two together that the lead singer of the band is the famous actor as well, and I am glad that my love of the group started from not knowing that fact, and purely based on music for what it is.

I went to see the group in Wembley, London, and loved it: lots of energy, interaction with funs – amazing!!! I hope guys will come back soon. Lots of Love.

  • Reece

I saw them in bournmouth uk on 24th feb. I saw my music and film hero in one night- what a amazing band. Pure talent I hope they tour uk again soon!!! I still buzzing from it now it was a real personal show and that's the differance! Good luck with them all.

omg, that gig was actually amazing. my first one as well, had everything worked out, so the first gig i would see would be yours ;D missed out on loads of good ones, but i can't say they would have been better than THAT! it was sooo much fun! i did have such a sore throat and couldn't stop talking about it so i think you do owe my parents an apology!

  • Jen

You guys were amazing at Wembley last night! Thanks so much for such a good show, it was the 5th time I've seen you but you keep getting better and better :)

  • Natasha Conroy

Love the jeans and the clothes that you are wearing this tour!! We will hold you to your promise to come back to the UK, you should come more often, can't wait for the download festival at Donnington in June bringing the girls for a great dirty weekend going to be fun!!!

  • Viviana Preston

    Jared, start watching your weight!

You're a bit of a masochistic workalcoholic – I can relate to that – and you've just come out of making an album. But you get any thinner than this and you'll disappear. And that's not doing anybody a favor.

Some of us actually know that the camera adds 10 pounds and can do the math. Period.

    • Ana

Viviana, I have the exact same opinion as you, though I may not express it very often, ‘cause perhaps I don’t want to sound, as if I was his mother all the time… Jared should really take care of his health and besides of eating a “little bit more”, he should also make an effort to sleep, but stubborn as he is, I doubt that he will take our advice!

      • Ana

Ok, I didn’t want to seem impolite and that’s why I hadn’t mentioned it… But besides of being also a “workaholic”, I’m extremely perfectionist!

J, I’ve seen some of Wembley’s photos & videos, but I’ll wait for your next post on the blog to write a proper comment.

      • Viviana Preston

        Don't get me wrong…

The man is free to kill himself by starvation if he wants to. I'm sure it'll do wonders for the promotion of This is War :) ))

And he might… since I hardly believe anybody actually reads these comments – let alone our workalcoholic friend over there. They're just fun to browse through when you've reached brain overload :p

  • jazzy tabbott

I was charmed with the tachitas of the whole gown, the esenario of Manchester, it is enormous, wonderful photos, Cardiff was the best video, they enjoyed it, This is War and VOX POPULI thrilled me, they are espectaulares to sing in the concerts. I love them guys, a kiss for vos. My Nice One.

  • Teri Rose

Saw the gig in Manchester. It was the first gig I've been too (a little sad considering im 31!)… you guys were amazing!!! We loved it so much we wanted to travel on to cardiff to see the next gig. Unfortunately we couldn't afford the train fair back home to Darlington (north east) from all that way so ended up going straight home : ( Really hoping you come back soon.

  • marsbeliever

I'm a bit confused… never heard a band's touring by train. What about all the rest of the crew, the gear and stuff? Would be nice to get an explanation on this ;-)

    • vinistar

is it because 30stm wanted to be environmentally conscious and also wanted to experience a bit of british life maybe?….could this be true jared/shannon/tomo? :o )

  • Liz Binno

Hi guys, saw the show in manchester saturday, absolutely fantastic. Audience participation was best I've seen, you made a lot of friends that nite. Crowd was a really good mix, expected it to be teenage girls screaming for Jared but no, (sorry J) plenty of blokes and wrinklies (40!) like me!! Songs sounded awesome, nice to have some of the oldies mixed in with the new stuff, also great to see Shannon strumming as well as banging things with sticks!! All in all, fantastic nite, the show ranked up there with the big guys and, most important, dont forget your promise to come back to Manchester, we'll hold you to that!! Good luck with the rest of the tour, will catch you again sometime..xxx

    • Judith

Went to see the boys in Manchester and Glasgow, was a little concerned about being the oldest one there happily, not the case besides when I got there it was so awesome I forgot how old I was and just got carried away with the whole thing. It was brilliant, Jared is really good working the crowd' it was great to watch and be a part of. Jared, Shannon, and Tomo the best band ever!!!! 30 Seconds to Mars rock!!!

The musicianship of the boys is amazing and Jared' s voice was awesome, I loved the fact they played songs from all 3 albums and were so pleased that we enjoyed them, Jared's enthusiasm is so infectious and I love the mohawk.

I read the comments from people about his weight , I am thin myself its my way and I think it is his as well, we all care about his health but he is a healthy guy just thin that is his natural way. I know he loves the band and the success they have worked so hard for he would not jeopardise his health and spoil the dream they are living. He is very articulate, intelligent, and a little older so more common sense as well.

Hope to attend the summer festivals work permitting but boys come back soon we cannot wait!! Live shows rock!!! Judith South Shields.

You guys were beyond awesome in Cardiff on Sunday!

When you were introducing this is war by repeating "THIS IS?" I was desperately trying to get the crowd to reply "SPARTA!" but to no avail : o (

Definitely coming to see you guys at Download!

  • paris
