Good take on interaction on social networks and crowdsourcing. Maybe you can find some ideas!
It seems to me that you guys (and by this I mean the entire team) are indeed putting a lot of effort into interacting with your fans online. But I think there's more that you can get out of it – i. e. feedback that you can actually USE for something…. other than building an altar for Jared, in which (unlikely) case, I believe you have enough material for two lifetimes

PS: I can't believe I'm saying this out loud, but sometimes I wish I could give you guys a crash course on participatory design and lead user innovation.
