An excerpt from Jared’s journal:

Am I turning into a European???

The water tastes normal. The food is great. The people don’t even have accents anymore! Things are getting weird…but I like it.

After a very pagan like bombastic and beautiful set in the trees at Provinsirock in Finland (where the sun actually went down and came up again during out set), we took planes, trains, buses, cars, and finally our feet to get to… Gothenburg, Sweden.

It’s sooo sad that the festival in Hultsfred, Sweden, got cancelled. I was so looking forward to it! Might just have to go to LA and see you perform instead! Or not might, have to!

    You rock!!

    Maria: I’m jealous! ;-)

    Guys,

Thanks for the amazing concert in Provinssirock! I can't really describe the atmosphere but it was one of the greatest moments of this year so far!

    Jared,

And wow, it was unbelievable to bump into you in Helsinki the day before. I'd had a pretty bad day at work and I could hardly believe my eyes when I suddenly saw you in front of the hotel. Thanks so much for staying for a chat and a photo even though I was in my working clothes and must have looked like I'd be trying to sell you something, haha! You really made my day, man, you made my whole summer!

Can't wait to see you guys again (for… hmm, would be the fifth time, if you count the summit)! Hope you have an amazing summer!

Today I want to say thank you for the amazing reports you send us every week! I appreciate them very much. I can recommend the pick of the movie with Meryl Streep/Alec Baldwin. I saw this movie too and I am thinking often back on that story with two amazing actors. ;-) ))

See you in London / Basel ;-) ))
