Excerpt from Jared’s journal:
The last 2 shows of the European festival tour were a great way to end this amazing trip.
We went and saw our friends at radio1 and mtv in London and enjoyed some sunny days in one of our favorite cities and then boarded a plane to Scotland to play T in the Park.
We arrived to cold and muddy Edinburgh but it was, in typical scottish fashion, completely fucking mad.
I wore a kilt for the show and although I didn’t hang too lose I did enjoy the chance to wear a skirt. I’ve got the legs for it, I’ve been told.

Jared, show us your legs! because we have our own opinion about the shape and the texture and the advisability of a skirt in hairy ones…….just show them… to your groins, dare you do it? or is'nt a rock-star behaviour? Just surprise us, wonder us, Jared!

But did you shave Jared??? It's all very nice to have the legs to wear a skirt, but we all know you've got to shave (I'd suggest waxing but you boys can't withstand pain!) Oh and hi from Auckland, New Zealand. Just watched Closer to the Edge. The video is very engaging and inspirational, the director did a great job. I shall go and buy a certain Dr Seuss book about 500 hats for my kids. Best, wherever you currently are.
